San Diego soul trio Thee Sacred Souls return with their sophomore album, Got A Story To Tell (Daptone Records), recorded at Penrose Recorders with producer Gabriel Roth. Fresh off extensive North American and European touring, members Alejandro Garcia, Salvador Samano, and Josh Lane channel the emotional growth, touring strain, and tight-knit bond of life on the road into a refined, timeless sound. Infusing personal experiences into universal storytelling, the 12-track record blends classic Motown, Jamaican rocksteady, and '60s R&B to solidify their place in modern retro-soul.
LA lom
LA LOM—short for the Los Angeles League of Musicians—is a Los Angeles–based trio making some of the most infectious instrumental music around today. Built on the chemistry of guitarist Zac Sokolow, bassist Jake Faulkner, and percussionist Nicholas Baker, the band first honed their signature sound during long, late-night sets in the lobby of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

The Womack Sisters—comprising BG, Zeimani, and Curtis Womack—are a Los Angeles–based R&B/soul trio carrying forward a profound musical legacy. As the daughters of famed songwriting and production duo Linda and Cecil Womack (Womack & Womack) and the granddaughters of legendary soul singer Sam Cooke, music is encoded in their DNA.
