Cafuné is an indie pop duo made up of singer-songwriter Sedona Schat and producer Noah Yoo. The pair met back in 2014 at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music and have been crafting their signature sound ever since — a dreamy blend of indie pop, rock, and lush, atmospheric textures carried by Schat’s captivating vocals. Their name, Cafuné — a Brazilian Portuguese word meaning “the act of running your fingers through a loved one’s hair” — perfectly captures the intimate, emotive energy that runs through their music.
