CANNONS is a Los Angeles-based indie pop band that quickly rose to global fame with their dark, seductive blend of synth-wave, dream pop, and disco-infused funk. Formed in 2013 by lead vocalist Michelle Joy, guitarist Ryan Clapham, and keyboardist/bassist Paul Davis, the trio spent years refining their signature retro-futuristic sound in their local California scene. Their breakthrough arrived in 2020 with the sleeper hit "Fire for You," a hypnotic, viral single featured in Netflix's Never Have I Ever that topped the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart, racked up hundreds of millions of streams, and positioned them as a major act to watch.
Expanding on their sound with acclaimed releases like Fever Dream and Heartbeat Highway, the band cemented their signature formula of atmospheric grooves, shimmering guitar hooks, and lush, romantic vocals. Following a string of festival-stealing sets at Coachella and Lollapalooza, CANNONS launched The Everything Glows Tour—bringing their dreamy, high-energy live performances and glowing visual spectacle to sold-out venues across North America.
